My name is Jalethea Ferguson, and I am a political science major with a minor in law, driven by a deep commitment to academic excellence, service, and resilience. Since high school, I have maintained an outstanding academic record, graduating with the highest number of awards in my class and earning an average of 100.72 while also serving as a caregiver for my mother during her illness. This experience shaped my discipline, empathy, and determination to persevere despite challenges.

I earned an internship with the United Nations, an opportunity that strengthened my interest in public service and global affairs. I have since been published in a scholarly journal, further solidifying my passion for research and policy analysis. Throughout my academic journey, I have worked multiple jobs since the age of 17, continuously balancing employment with rigorous coursework. I was also on track to graduate early, a reflection of my dedication and time-management skills.

Service remains central to who I am. I am actively involved in three churches, serving wherever I am needed, and I value commitment, service, and resilience as guiding principles in my life. In my free time, I enjoy coloring and crocheting, creative outlets that allow me to reflect and recharge. I am the daughter of Reverend Wellesley Ferguson and the late Valarie Ferguson, whose lives and values continue to inspire my pursuit of purpose-driven leadership and meaningful impact.
