Jonathan Benjamin Pathways to Independence Scholarship

Empowering Autistic Individuals to Build Independent, Self-Directed Lives

Scholarship Mission

The Daisy Wong Family Foundation Pathways to Independence Scholarship supports individuals on the autism spectrum as they pursue greater independence, opportunity, and quality of life.
This scholarship reflects the Foundation’s commitment to dignity, inclusion, and long-term empowerment. Through their lived experience supporting Jonathan Benjamin, Daisy Wong’s grandson, the family has gained deeper understanding and insight into the barriers that exist when advocating for appropriate devices, supports and services. This journey has informed and enlightened the Foundation’s commitment to advancing access, dignity, and individualized support.
We recognize that independence looks different for every person, and we honor each recipient’s right to define their own goals and future.
